Education Program

UpCycle Products offers Seminars and Workshops on a no fee basis for:

• Garden Clubs
• Environmental Groups
• Park Districts
• Home Owner’s Associations
• Municipalities
• Scouts - The Scouts participate in our workshops to satisfy the Boy Scouts Conservation Badge and the Girl Scouts Water Drop Badge programs.
• Schools - We offer different programs for each age group - Elementary, Junior High School, High School, and College.

Solid Waste Reduction Seminars and Workshops Topics Covered Include:

• Why we need to reduce solid waste
• How to reduce solid waste
• How to reduce, reuse and recycle
• Instructions on how to install and use a Tumbling Composter.
• Question and answer time follows.
• Approximately 45 minutes to an hour per session.

• Why we should conserve water
• How to conserve water
• How to use a rain barrel
